Sonia Makkar moved to Mumbai in 1993. From a young age, Sonia had an eye for design and elegance. She engaged herself by pursuing her interests in the fashion garment industry from a young age. Traveling around the corners, taking inspiration from other cities and cultures made Sonia create one of a kind brand competencies. She finds inspiration on a daily basis and applies her creative and elegant designs to all the aspects of her projects. Whether be it Indian, Western, or bridal, she dedicates and immerses herself into every garment design with passion and sensibility. With over 5000+ exclusive Indo-western garment styles designed and manufactured in house, our mission is to bring the world's best ethnic designs in made to measure format at your doorstep. Based out of Mumbai, Mehr By Pretty brings handpicked designs in ethnic, Indian, western, bridal, and more. Founded by Sonia Makkar in 2017, our designs and products make our customers look incredible. Sonia Makkar's understanding of ancient designs and the innovative use of traditional crafts has created a new classicism. Today the company is renowned for its distinctive use of colors, quality of fabrics, intricate embroideries, and a gloriously rich Indian aesthetic.
